My Girlfriend is a Gumiho Ep. 4-8 (Netflix)

To tell you the truth, me and the wife just finished watching Ep. 8.

It's a sad retelling of the little mermaid tale, I not get where the story comes from they even referenced it in the series when Dr. Park Dong-Joo buys Mi-Ho with the book. As if to reference what is going to happen to her should she continue with her quest to become human.

Every episode is a back and forth with Cha Dae-Woong as he confronts himself trying not to fall with the supernatural fox which is Mi-Ho. It's really confusing when you think of it with these fairytales they get you to fall in love with species of other races like mermaids, centaurs or what not, in this case a fox with nine tails. But you have to love the spins in the story and that gets you hooked with the series. In this Korean drama, the way the people treats Mi-Ho makes you get to her side. She simply hooks you in with her innocence and lovable nature. This maybe the second time the wife sees this series but I can tell she still loves every moment of it. And I do too. It's cute, innocent and some cringe worthy moment specially when the scenes show Director Ban and Cha's aunt together, it's almost slapstick.
