Extraction (Netflix)

You missed Thor? You missed the Russo brothers? Here they are together with Extraction.

The movie's story revolves mainly with two rival drug gangs from cousin countries Bangladesh and India. Bangladeshi leader kidnaps India's boy and that needed rescuing because India leader is put in jail and cannot act on his own. Enter Chris Hemsworth, mercenary for hire. A veteran of Afghanistan, he has nothing to lose after not seeing his wife anymore and losing his son... Usual combo for a mercenary.

So he goes to Bangladesh rescue Pi oh  sorry wrong movie, Ovi I mean son of Ovi Sr, the Indian leader. That's where he unleashes his combat skills and brings terror to those he crosses paths, which is about all of the citizens of that city. Mr. Bangladeshi leader owns the guns of the country even the  soldiers themselves, filthy.

The movie itself is full of good action scenes and great CQB (that is Close Quarter Battles for the non-initiates), but the plot seemed kinda passe with the influx of these kind of movie genre, you know, the gung ho genre type where anything goes against chaos and confusion.

It's a good watch though if you are really looking for the action, story not so much.
