The Rising of the Shield Hero: Season One the End (Netflix)

So after watching 1 season of this how should I rate this?

It's a story of building on relationships. The action? Not so much I've watched so many Dragon Ball, Yuyu Hakusho and the likes to have a better comparison. The shield hero picks up another girl to train in the end of the season.

Was it any good? As I said the series is about relationships, from the start when he was acted upon lowly, berated and everything he was in constant pain and anger but because of the trust bestowed upon the hero by his party he learned to survive and deal with the pain until finally the queen draw into the light the unjust treatment of the shield hero by members of her royal family specially the king and the first princess.

Was the season ender good? Should it have been more heart biting moment? I really felt nothing. If it was more emphasized then maybe.
