Blade Runner 2049

 

What is it about?

I haven't seen the original movie. Too bad, but the good thing here is that you don't need to. With this movie it fills you with the gaps accordingly, while still enjoying the movie as a stand alone. Ryan Gosling stars in the movie as a Blade Runner. He is to execute older Replicants to make them obsolete because they aren't as compliant as the new ones produced. He was a hunter until one reveleation makes him the prey instead.

Why you should watch it?

It is good old story telling. You get amazed by the plot as it unfolds even the twist is satisfying. You get to see Gosling acting great in this movie. Ana de Armas isn't shabby visually here also. Harrison Ford? He charms his way to this one too. Jared Leto stuns. I tell you the story is great and played by great actors too.

Why you shouldn't watch it...

It's kinda slow at first, sometimes it bores me when that kind of setting appears but as the story goes along at least the pace fastens itself. Watch guys, watch, watch, watch.
