What it is about?
Ever been stuck? That's what happens to a man who lost in a karate tournament, Johnny Lawrence. Name sounds familiar? That's because this is a spinoff to the 80's cult movie Karate Kid. Meet Johnny and Daniel again. This time re-live the story in their point of views and what happened to their lives since then.
Why you should watch it:
This series has great writing behind it. There are no clear black and white for the characters, meaning you tend to understand why the other reacts or do things as they are the motivations they have. Unlike the movie where Daniel is the good one, here he can be shady and be the corrupt one against Johnny so there is a redeeming factor for both characters. I really love that both of them can interchange being villain per episode which is about 30 minutes and only 8 per season. There is drama, romance, comedy and action of course. This is Karate Kid.
