Jane the Virgin Season 2-3 (Netflix)

 

I really enjoy this show.

It reminds me of the twists of a Mexican telenovela and the comedy of Friends... err If I watched Friends. Well any way this is the life of Jane Gloriana Villanueva or so the narrator might say. It is an everyday complications of life with hilarity in it. So we follow Jane into the 2nd season where she breaks off with Rafael and somehow finds her way back into the arms of Michael, cray cray right... Eh, excuse me for getting my head flooded with the crazy narrator's narrative.

Well anyway as she gets back with Michael, they went through the getting to know you phase again which escalated quickly to the marriage proposal. So they got married (thankfully this time) and on wedding night Michael was shot. Of course that is one crazy cliff hanger for a season ender. In season 3, Michael recovers gradually. They find a home where they were settling into family life with Mateo, Jane's son from Rafael, which was artificially inseminated to her by her drunk sister Luisa. Now, Luisa is involved with Sin Rostro, an international crime lord who is her lover/girlfriend. Also we find out that Rafael's mom is also a crime lord connected to Sin Rostro.

It's a story too complicated to really tell unless you tune in to that. I have to give this a high rating because it's really fun to watch.
